Cinnamon doughnuts

Homemade donuts can be baked not only in February, but all year round, and the cinnamon version is a real autumn treat. Making it with the ANKARSRUM stand mixer is child's play!!
It easily performs the tedious process of kneading for you, so your kitchen will already be cleaner. Vary with your favorite toppings and enjoy.

Recipe - for 10 doughnuts
Ingredients for the dough:
20 grams of yeast
50 grams of butter
200 ml of milk
70 grams of sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon of salt
½ lemon (peel)
390-420 grams of wheat flour
Ingredients for baking:
1 liter of oil
Sugar to taste
Cinnamon to taste
Cinnamon donuts step by step:
• Watch the recipe video! Assemble the stand mixer with the bowl, the kneading spiral hook and the kneading roller, as well as the scraper for the mixing bowl, which prevents the dough from sticking to the walls of the bowl.
• Crumble the yeast into the bowl. Melt the butter in a pan and add the milk.
• Heat it to a maximum of 37°C and pour it over the yeast in the metal bowl.
• Add the sugar, salt, eggs, lemon and gradually add most of the flour. Turn on your stand mixer and knead for 10 minutes. The dough should be sticky but manageable. If you have doubts about whether the consistency of your dough is right, watch the video. When ready, place the dough on a floured surface and roll out into a 1 cm thick dough. Cut out circular shapes with a round cookie cutter or a glass, then cut a small hole in the middle. When you're ready, let it rise and rest under a clean, dry kitchen towel for 2-3 hours.
• Heat the oil in a pan to 175°C and fry the donuts for 1 minute on each side, then drain them. Wipe off the excess oil with a paper towel. Once you have it, while still warm, roll the donuts into the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
