Lime Daikiri, as Anka makes it

One superpower of your Ankarsrum stand mixer follows another if you vary the available accessories and head parts  Even the basic set offers a wide range of accessories, but one of the indispensable crowd favorites is the blender head.

Cool off on hot days with a daiquiri cocktail. Today's recipe is a frozen lime version, which is the perfect drink on a warm, sunny day. It can also be offered in an alcohol-free version for children and drivers.

Ingredients for 2 glasses:

about 150 grams of ice cubes or crushed ice

2-3 limes

70 grams of sugar syrup

8 cl of light rum, which you replace with lemonade if a non-alcoholic version is also made

Ingredients for decoration:

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 lime

fresh raspberries

lemon grass

edible gold dust

Lime daiquiri cocktail step by step:

• Assemble your ANKARSRUM stand mixer with the blender head.

• Add ice, lime juice, sugar syrup and rum or lemonade.

• Mix at high speed until all ingredients are completely homogeneous.

• Pour the granulated sugar into a deep plate, grate the lime peel into it, then mix with a fork.

• Cut the lime in half and moisten the rim of the glass with the juice. Now dip the glass into the lime-sugar mixture, so that a kind of sweet, white streak forms on the glasses.

• Pour the frozen lime daiquiri into the glasses and garnish with fresh raspberries, lemongrass and edible gold dust.
