Falafel, not just for vegans

Make your family's homemade falafel with the ANKARSRUM food processor's meat grinder attachment and the help of the recipe video. .
Serve with pita, vegetables and hummus!
Our recipe is from the ANKARSRUM recipe book.
Ingredients for 4 people (for a total of 24 pieces of falafel)
330 grams of dried chickpeas
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic (optional)
50 grams parsley or coriander (or half of each)
2 teaspoons of salt
5 grams of black pepper
5 grams of cumin
5 grams of coriander
60 grams of sesame seeds
45 grams of olive oil
60 ml of olive oil for greasing the pan
Vegan falafel step by step:

• Before use, soak chickpeas in water for at least 12 hours.
• Put the chopped onion, minced garlic clove, chopped parsley/coriander, salt, black pepper, cumin and coriander in a bowl next to the soaked and drained chickpeas.
• Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon.
• Assemble the ANKARSRUM food processor with the meat grinder attachment and the 4.5 mm disc.
• Grind the chickpea mixture.
• Add the sesame seeds and olive oil and mix with a spoon.
• Turn on the oven at 200°C and put 60 ml of olive oil in a deep pan on the middle rack of the oven.
• Form patties from the falafel (use about 2 tablespoons of the mixture to form a ball).
• Take out the baking tray and carefully put the falafels in it, brush them with olive oil and bake in the oven for approx. for 10-15 minutes.
• Now take the baking sheet out again and carefully turn the fala halves over, then put them back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
• After baking, remove the falafels, place a kitchen paper towel on a plate and remove the falafels. The paper towel will absorb the excess oil.
