Festive chocolate marble cookies

These beautiful, marbled cookies are made with chocolate, so you can't go wrong with them, and they are made easely with the ANKARSRUM stand mixer. Our recipe is also from the ANKARSRUM recipe book.

Ingredients:

For the cookies
180 grams flour
45 grams powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of cocoa
0.5 teaspoon of salt
125 grams of cold butter
1 tablespoon ice cold water

For the marble decoration:
200 grams of dark chocolate
100 grams of white chocolate

Festive chocolate marble cookies step by step:

1. Assemble your ANKARSUM food processor with the 3.5 liter plastic mixing bowl and the double whisk attachment, which are part of the starter kit, as shown in this video. Whisk the eggs and sugar on medium speed until foamy.
2. Add all the ingredients except the water to the bowl.
3. Start the machine at low speed, then wait a while and continue at medium speed until it becomes uniform.
4. Now add the water and mix until foamy and smooth.
5. Roll out the dough between two baking trays or with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 0.5 cm, then leave it to rest in the fridge for about 1 hour. If you don't make it right away, put the dough in the freezer for later use!
6. Set the oven to 175 °C.
7. Cut out circles with a cookie cutter or a glass.
8. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes, then let them cool.

Marble decoration

9. Melt the chocolate over steam or in a microwave oven and transfer it to a piping bag.
10. Cover the cookie with the melted dark chocolate.
11. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top. Start in the center of the cookie and work your way to the edge in a circular motion.
12. Now take a toothpick or skewer and make some indentations in the chocolate, then draw the pattern.
13. Serve with the help of the ANKARSRUM confectionery set!

ANKA tip:

The biscuit can still be decorated with chocolate shavings, but for the sake of the party you can also make it crazy with sprinkles of colored sugar!
